Predictive Traffic Duration Estimates
RoadWindow calculates travel time recommendations using predictive traffic algorithms powered by Google Routes API. These estimates are based on historical traffic models and typical road speeds for specific days and hours.
Real-world driving conditions may vary due to unpredictable events including traffic accidents, sudden road construction, severe weather, flooding, signals failure, or unannounced vehicle volume spikes. RoadWindow estimates are for trip planning purposes and do not guarantee exact travel durations.
Navigation & Live In-Drive Routing
RoadWindow is a pre-trip planning tool only. It does not provide turn-by-turn navigation, real-time speed monitoring, or in-drive re-routing.
When you click “Open in Google Maps”, navigation and real-time route guidance are handed off to Google Maps. Google Maps evaluates live turn-by-turn directions at the moment you launch navigation.
